Here's how Rap Battle will be judged:

1. Professionalism:
A performance should be carefully planned, rather than put up together at the last minute. We'll be interested in seeing that you have prepared props, musical tracks, and other equipment in advance. You should also practice choreography and stage movements thoroughly before the actual performance.

2. Unique Style:
Rather than coming to the rap battle with every lyric memorized, We want to see what makes you unique. Throughout the performance, show us your improvisational skills. One of the easiest ways to do this is to respond to your opponent’s rap. If you succeed, we will know that you can listen well and think on your feet.

3. Audience Interaction:
During a rap battle, freezing up in front of the audience isn’t an option. Performers must be ready to do their best as soon as they step on stage. This is especially important since we will be considering audience interaction in the final score. Pumping them up before and during your performance with eye contact, waving, and call and response chants are the best ways to make sure you get the points you deserve.
