In case you haven’t guessed, we’re obsessed with good art here at Cafe Sol and iO - The Space. And we’re constantly on the lookout for local artists doodling away at our table napkins.

iO is proudly exhibiting the recent works of Maham Shahid - an emerging local artist. Maham is an exceptional blogger and started off with a bang at iO’s open mic, where an auction fetched her Rs 2,200 for one of her paintings.

Bold and unapologetically feminine, Maham’s paintings now liven up iO’s plain grey walls. The paintings are open for sale at super-affordable prices.

Another artist making waves at Cafe Sol and iO, is Nehal Hashir whose digital illustrations are the talk of the town. On our last All-Female comedy night featuring ‘Auratnaak’, Nehal left us a basket of irresistible artistic goodies - an assortment of stickers and postcards featuring some of her coolest, boundary-pushing art designs.

The basket sits at the front bar at Cafe Sol for anyone wishing to buy a piece for as little as Rs 50.
