iO - All-Female Comedy Open Night with 'Auratnaak'

Awesomeness just naturally follows Auratnaak, like laanat follows Ali Zafar.

We - the starry-eyed folk at Cafe Sol and iO - crossed paths with Auratnaak yesterday evening. The riotously funny comedy collective performed at our humble space packed with people.

Bahria Town is regarded as Islamabad’s boring suburban cousin separated by a two-kilometer stretch of PWD, which most Islamabadis dread crossing. iO’s mission is to establish this side of the city as the twin cities new cultural hot-spot; offering a range of exciting activities to our small local community.

The contribution of extraordinary artists like Sabah Bano Malik, Orooj Zafar, and their wickedly hilarious comrades, means the world to tiny cultural spaces like ours.

Thank you Auratnaak, and thank you everyone who attended, especially those who traveled long distances to be here. It’s been a terrific experience!
